Moments Through the Screen: A Rain of Memories and Hope

Today, I had the opportunity to video chat with my grandsons, a moment I always look forward to. As we talked, I watched the rain fall from the sky, courtesy of the tail of Hurricane Debby, which is forecasted to hit Florida in a few hours. Although the storm is approaching, my heart is at ease, knowing that my beloved little ones are safe on the Air Force base where their mother is stationed. 🌀🌧️

The faces of my grandsons Ezran and Castiel lit up on the screen, full of curiosity and wonder as they watched the rain. Each drop seemed to awaken a new question, a new emotion. It’s amazing how the innocence of children can turn even a stormy day into something magical.

Ezran, was particularly excited. My little Libra, always so observant, couldn’t stop pointing at the window and the “big rain.” His enthusiasm and energy are contagious, and I couldn’t help but smile and laugh with him. 🌟🎂

Even though I’m far from them, these moments through the screen bring us a little closer. Seeing their faces, hearing their laughter, and sharing their little daily adventures fills my heart with joy and love. I miss them so much, more than words can express, but knowing they are well cared for and safe gives me peace.

The Air Force base is a secure place, and I fully trust that my daughter has everything under control. She’s an incredible mother, and I know she’ll do everything necessary to keep my grandsons safe during the storm. 🌈👩‍✈️

Castiel’s birthday is just around the corner in September. I can’t believe he’s already turning three! I’m counting the days until I can be with him and celebrate his special day. Virgos are known for their intelligence and attention to detail, and Castiel already shows signs of being a very special little boy. I can’t wait to give him a big hug and tell him how much I love him. 🎉💞

As the rain continues to fall and the hurricane approaches, I feel grateful for the technology that allows us to stay connected. These moments, although virtual, are a reminder of the strength of family love and the importance of being present in the lives of those we love, no matter the distance.

We will see each other soon, my dears. Until then, stay safe and keep filling my days with joy through your smiles and laughter. I love you so much, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you the third birthday of our little Virgo, Castiel. 🌟💙
