Today is 9/11. A day in history forever etched into our memories.

Where were you on this day in 2001? What do you remember?

For me, my son was a newborn. I remember taking the kids to school, listening to the radio like any other morning. Suddenly, the talk show host went quiet. His tone shifted, heavy and somber, as he said there had been an attack on the World Trade Center.

My heart sank. I rushed home, held my baby tight, and turned on the news in disbelief. Moments later, I couldn’t bear to be apart from my other children. I went back to the school, took them out of class, and brought them home. I needed us to be together, safe under one roof.

This is a day that changed us all. 🇺🇸❤️
